A world platform for stakeholders in the field of Light Electric Vehicles has been launched by ELECTRI-CITY.MOBI with a 2-days summit in Barcelona that gathered around 150 experts.
R&D consultancies, Industry, public authorities, end-users and NGO’s shared their ideas on the state of affairs of E-Mobility with the aim to learn from each other’s experience, present their work and achievements, find partners to develop synergies and build new projects.
Kick-off by the Municipality of Barcelona with Mr Angel Lopez who presented the “Live project” – a public-private interface opened to entities related to electric and sustainable mobility that has fostered the deployment of 300 E-Bikes in the Catalan city. Many interesting presentations dealing with the E-Bike sector, which is undoubtedly growing at very fast pace: CONEBI – as representative of the European Bicycle, E-Bike and Parts & Accessories Industry – shared the numbers of the European market on sales, production and employment with a focus on the advocacy projects implemented at Institutional level to foster the deployment of the Pedal-Assisted E-Bike at larger scale.
